Cougar Softball Stadium
The much-anticipated addition to Cougar Softball, Houston's younest
intercollegiate athletic program, was the completion of Cougar Softball
Field prior to the 2002 season. The $2.4 million complex sports home and
visitors locker rooms, laundry facilities and a press box which includes
separate radio and television booths. The NCAA-regulation field has a
top-quality infield and outfield, and up to 1,200 softball fans are treated
to comfortable seating, concessions areas and accessible parking.
Located next to the Tom Tellez Track Complex on the corner of Scott and
Elgin Streets on the UH campus, Cougar Softball Field was made possible
through the generous donation of UH alumni John and Rebecca Moores.
