Competed for the Brazos Valley Bombers of the Texas Collegiate League.
FRESHMAN (2007)
Competed in 13 games with a pair of starts during his first collegiate season... Came off the bench to make his collegiate debut during the middle game of the Princeton series... Went 1-for-3 with a double and a run against the Tigers... Made his first career start in the Princeton series finale... Started the Cougar rally in the seventh inning with a two-out walk and eventually came around to score the tying run.

Played for head coach Woody Champagne... Competed in Kyle Chapman Baseball for head coach Mike Rutledge. Senior (2006): Posted a .500 batting average with nine home runs... Helped lead the Bobcats to the state regional finals and was recognized as the team Most Valuable Player... Was an All-State First-Team honoree and was named to the All-Greater Houston First Team by the Houston Chronicle and Houston 5A Baseball... Was a unanimous 22-5A All-District First-Team honoree... Named to Greater Houston Area All-Star Team, Texas All-Star Team and Sunbelt Team. Junior (2005): Member of team which was District 17-5A co-champions and finished with a 27-5 overall record... Batted .369 with three home runs and 35 RBIs through the regular season on the way to All-District Second-Team honors... Blasted a two-run homer against Memorial High in the first game of the Region III-5A quarterfinal series.
