Hey Coog Fans,

Sorry I haven't made an entry in some time. but I have been insanely busy with school and baseball. I have a 60-page paper due at the end of the semester, and it is really kicking my butt. My wife, Donna, was also in town, and we had a lot to take care of while she was visiting from law school.

Well, this past weekend at LSU was a rough one. We won on Friday, because Brad Lincoln was unstoppable.

On Saturday, nothing went our way. Matt Farrington started, but every pitch he threw, good or bad, they seemed to hit the ball in just the right spot.

On Sunday, Luis Flores had a strong start, going six innings and leaving with a 3-1 lead. Ricky Hargrove did really well in the 7th, but in the 8th, LSU's bats came alive, and they scored four runs.

Sunday was a heartbreaker, but we live and learn and we came back strong on Tuesday against Lamar. We kind of gave them a little payback from last Tuesday at their place. Our come-from-behind win last night was really what our team needed to get us back on track.

We are looking at last night's win as a driving force for this coming weekend in California at UC-Irvine.

Quick side note: Our manager, Matt "Willy" Boland is feeling a lot better and is back to his old self.

Thanks, Brett
