REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2007)
Competed in all 13 games with one start... made his collegiate debut against the Ducks... recorded his first reception for 21 yards at Conference USA rival Tulane... hauled in a 30-yard touchdown catch, the first of his collegiate career, to pull the Cougars to within a touchdown during the home opener against Colorado State... made his first appearance at quarterback late in the win at UAB... made his first career start at wide receiver at UTEP... finished with two receptions for 23 yards against C-USA rival Marshall... Rushed for 55 yards on only five carries and completed his first pass against Texas Southern during the regular-season finale... Also caught a 15-yard pass against the Tigers. Texas Bowl: Hauled in a 9-yard pass against TCU.

Was listed as an All-Region selection by Prep Star magazine... also was listed as a three-star recruit by Scout.com... ranked as the No. 47 quarterback by Scout.com... picked up a three-star ranking by Rivals.com... a member of the Houston Chronicle Top 100 list... also selected to the State 100 by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram... helped lead team to a 13-1 record and a Regional championship... was the District 23-4A MVP and also Player of the Year... selected by the Galveston Daily News to its All-County First Team... honored at the Houston Touchdown Club on Aug. 17, 2005... also lettered in basketball and was the 2004-05 Co-MVP and won the Dennis Rodman Award... threw for 1,155 yards and 17 TDs and rushed for 718 yards and 11 scores as a senior... completed 93 of 179 passes for 1,200 yards and 16 TDs and had 90 rushes for 387 yards and five scores as a junior...

Castile of LaMarque, Texas... enjoys computers and music during his spare time... also served as an assistant coach with the LaMarque Tigers Youth Football and Texas City Magics Youth Basketball... also recruited by Colorado State... major in kinesiology.
