After sitting behind standouts Vincent Marshall (2006) and Donnie Avery and Jeron Harvey (2007), looks to shine this season as a go-to receiver... heads into the fall as one of the leading candidates to start at one of the four wide-out spots... good hands but becomes dangerous after the catch... shifty in the open field and is hard to bring down.
SOPHOMORE (2007)
Appeared in all 13 games with three starts against Colorado State, Alabama and Tulsa... one of only 35 players to play in all 13 games... hauled in two catches for 14 yards at Oregon during the season opener... also returned a kickoff... returned a 12-yard kickoff at Alabama... returned a kickoff a career-best 20 yards and rushed once for three yards against Texas Southern during the regular-season finale. Texas Bowl: Snared a season-long 16-yard pass against TCU.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2006)
Made his collegiate debut against Tulane during the home opener... hauled in a 7-yard reception against the Green Wave.

HILLCREST HIGH SCHOOL
A member of the Dallas Morning-News State Top-100 list... Came in at No. 92 on the list... named First-Team All-District as both a wide receiver and kick returner... was selected the Sophomore of the Year in his district... nominated for the Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year... also competed in track, running the hurdles and the relays as well as the triple jump and high jump.
