UH Football To Host Area High School Coaches
HOUSTON, Texas -- The coaching staff of the University of Houston
football program will host its annual Cougar Day for The Greater Houston
Coaches Association this Wednesday, April 4, beginning at 3 p.m. All high
school football coaches in the Greater Houston area are encouraged to
attend.
The afternoon will begin with the Cougars' spring practice from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.; to be followed by a barbecue dinner in the O'Quinn Great Hall located within the Athletics/Alumni Center. From 6:30-7:30 p.m. the UH coaching staff will conduct a clinic with Cougar head coach Dana Dimel, Co-Defensive Coordinator Dick Bumpas and Co-Offensive Coordinator Clancy Barone discussing technique and strategy. The clinic will conclude with several break out sessions with the UH positional coaches.
