- Parking lots open at 2:00 p.m. on game day
- "TexFest" (the official Texas Bowl pre-game tailgate) starts at 3:00 p.m. and is free to the public
- There will be a Cougar pep rally at 5:00 p.m., Dec. 27, at the Hyatt Regency. After the pep rally, there will be a "meet & greet" with the football team where fans can get free autographs and pictures. The event is free to the public.
- The Hyatt Regency Houston, the team hotel for the Texas Bowl, is having a Texas Bowl Special during Texas Bowl Game Week. Dec 23rd through the 28th - including the 28th the rate is $109 a night. For reservations, people can call 713.654.1234 can log on to www.hyattregencyhouston.com.
