Gridiron Game Times Announced
July 19, 2001 HOUSTON, Texas- The University of Houston announced the kickoff times for two away contests and a change of time for the September 22 contest versus the University of Texas. The September 15 road contest at the University of Georgia will kickoff at 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (noon CDT), while the key road clash at Southern Miss on October 27, will begin at 2 p.m. As for the Cougar-Longhorn tilt at John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium, kickoff has been moved back one hour from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to accommodate ESPN2-the only nationally televised game of the season for UH.
