Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: Recorded a 14th-place finish in 100-meter hurdles at the College Station Relays…at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational she posted her best 100-meter hurdle time of the season in the prelims with a time of 14.67 and placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 36-09.50…finished 16th in the long jump at the Michael Johnson Classic with a leap of 18-03.00…she also threw the javelin 110-04 to place ninth at the Michael Johnson Classic…at the C-USA championships she tallied 4,839 points to place second in the heptathlon and also finished 14th in the javelin.
College
Spent the 2000 season competing on the track team at the University of Oklahoma… won the heptathlon at the Kansas Relays…helped the Sooners finish fifth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.

Was a multi-event track athlete at Washington High School…was the District 18-5A champion in three different events: discus (twice), long jump (twice), and 400 meter…was named second team all-district in basketball twice, when she lead the area in blocked shots…received the Scholar Athlete-of-the-Year Award in 1999.
