Cross Country: Competed in two meets for the Lady Cougars…ran in the Rice Invitational and the NCAA South Central Championships. Indoor: Had a season-best 800-meter time of 2:26.95 in the prelims of the Conference USA Championships…also posted a season-best mile time of 5:36.59 in the prelims of the C-USA Championships. Outdoor: Placed 12th in the 800 meters at the Tellez Invitational with a time of 2:27.66…ran a season-best 1500-meter time of 5:00.39 on her way to a 10th-place finish at the Texas Southern Relays.
1999-00 Indoor: Posted a season-best mile time of 5:30.21 in a sixth-place showing at the Houston Indoor Invitational…placed fourth in the mile at the Bayou City Indoor with a time of 5:41.42…ran the 3000 meters in 11:17.62 on her way to an eighth-place finish at the Houston Indoor Opener. Outdoor: Did not compete.
High School
All-state performer after finishing eighth at the Class 4A State Championships…was district champion and regional runner up…also played softball and was a cheerleader in high school.
