Outdoor: Finished second in the 100- meter hurdles at the Texas Southern Relays with a time of 13.64…placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.23 at the College Station Relays.
2000 Indoor: Started the season impressively with a second-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the Bayou City Indoor (8.79). Outdoor: Did not compete.

Two-time all-county selection in 100-meter hurdles… two-time 55-meters state champion…also won state championship in 55-meter hurdles…three-year all-area selection in 55 and 100-meter hurdles…also was state champion in 100 meters…finished sixth at the National Scholastic Meet… earned all-county honors as a right wing player for soccer team.
